After-School Robotics & Coding Program at Collingwood Neighbourhood School

STEMA Learning is excited to offer a fun and educational after-school STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program right at Collingwood Neighbourhood School! The program runs every Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and is designed to introduce children to the exciting world of coding and robotics, with no prior experience required.
📚 Program Details:
Duration: The program will run on a term basis. There are three terms from October 2025 to June 2026. Each term covers nine sessions. If you wish to enroll your child for the entire period from September 2025 to June 2026, please contact us for more details.
Note: Classes run only on regular school operating days (no sessions on statutory holidays or Pro-D days).
- Term 1: September 25, 2025, to December 18, 2025 (12 sessions)
- Term 2: January 8, 2026, to March 12, 2026 (10 sessions)
- Term 3: April 2, 2026, to June 18, 2026 (12 sessions)
Daily schedule:
- 3:00 – 3:30 PM: Arrival, quick snack time.
3:30 – 4:30 PM: Instructional time with engaging, hands-on lessons
Learn the basics of computer programming through fun activities like coding animations, interactive stories, and simple games
Build and explore robotics and simple machines, introducing early engineering concepts
Use age-appropriate coding tools such as ScratchJr, Scratch, or block-based robotics platforms
Develop creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills through guided projects
4:30 – 5:00 PM: Flexible pickup time with supervised STEAM-related play or quiet activities.
👧👦 Two Age Groups:
Ages 5–7: Focus on foundational skills, storytelling through code, and basic robot movement
Ages 8–12: Explore more advanced logic, game design, and hands-on engineering challenges

Terms and conditions:
The program will run only if a minimum number of students is met. If the minimum enrollment is not reached, STEMA Learning will issue a full refund.
Once the program has started, no refunds will be provided.
If a student is unable to continue after the program begins, the remaining balance may be credited toward other terms or other STEMA programs offered at your school or redeemed at our main learning center.
Classes are held on regular school operating days only. There will be no sessions on statutory holidays or Pro-D days.
Late pickups after 5:00 PM may be subject to a late fee.
STEMA Learning reserves the right to make changes to the schedule or instructors as needed.
