Course Description:
This beginner-friendly course introduces elementary students to the exciting world of computer programming using Scratch, a visual, block-based coding platform developed by MIT. Through engaging hands-on projects, students will learn the fundamentals of programming — including sequencing, loops, conditionals, variables, and events — all while bringing their ideas to life through interactive animations, stories, and games.
Students will develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and logical thinking as they design and code their own digital creations step by step. Each lesson combines fun activities with guided learning to help students understand how coding works behind the scenes — all in a playful and age-appropriate way.
